Processed in your browser

When you choose your Instagram ZIP, it's opened and read by your own browser. It is never uploaded to Mason Reid's server — or anyone else's.

Saved only on your device

The parsed results (usernames, follow dates, export date) are saved in your browser's local storage so you can compare exports later. They stay there until you delete them.

No password, ever

FollowCheck never asks for, receives or stores your Instagram password. It doesn't connect to Instagram at all.

No actions on your account

Nothing is followed, unfollowed, liked or messaged. Profile links simply open Instagram in a new tab.

You're in control

Clear all stored data at any time with the button below, or from Export History.

Analytics

If basic site analytics are ever added, they will never include usernames or any contents of your Instagram export.

FollowCheck is not affiliated with Instagram or Meta.
